Early life

Mukesh Ambani was born on April 19, 1957. His parents are Dhirubhai Ambani and Kokila ben Ambani. His younger brother’s name is Anil Ambani, who is also a businessman. He has two sisters, named Deepti Salgaonkar and Nina Kothari. In their early days, his family lived in a middle-class apartment comprising two bedrooms in Bhuleshwar in Mumbai till the 1970s. Afterward, his family’s economic condition improved a bit but they still lived in communities, used public transport and never experienced luxury.

Education

Mukesh Ambani did his schooling from the hill Grange high school located at peddar road, Mumbai. His brother anil and his friend Anand Jain, who later on became his close associate in his business also studied there. He got his BE degree from the Institute of chemical technology in chemical engineering. He enrolled in Stanford University for pursuing MBA but dropped out in the 1980s to assist his father in rebuilding and diversifying their reliance business. The Ambani family resides in Antilla, a Skyscraper building of 27 storeys in Mumbai. Its current value is US $1 billion and was the most expensive private residencies of the world at the time when it was built. About 600 people have been recruited for the maintenance of the entire building. Within the building premises, there are three helipads, a private movie theatre, 160 car garages, swimming pools, and gym centers.
