Personal Life
Born to Rajendra and Rajal Raval in Ahmedabad in 1994, Darshan loved music from a very young age. After completing his studies from Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul, Ahmedabad, he entered Yo Yo Honey Singh’s music reality show, India’s Raw Star, in 2014. Darshan earned a lot of exposure through the show. Drashan Raval’s first song, “Pehli Mohabbat”, became an instant super hit. After the show ended, he was approached by Himesh Reshammiya for his singing debut in Bollywood. Later, it turned out he had no idea that he had sung the song, “Jab Tum Chaho”, for Salman Khan for the movie prem Ratan Dhan Payo. Reportedly, his efficient guitar playing had been learned by himself by watching videos.
From then on, Darshan never had to look back. By the time he appeared in Hindi music, he had already debuted in Gujarati music in 2015.
